Uniform Policy

Acacia Elementary School embraces a uniform policy for all students. This policy was derived by Acacia Elementary Charter School parents and guardians after a lively forum.

There are several reasons why the Acacia community is in support of the uniform policy:

  • To diminish economic and social barriers between students
  • To help students resist peer pressure to buy trendy clothes
  • To help identify intruders in the school
  • To increase a sense of belonging and school pride

Adhering to the uniform policy is easy.  You do not have to purchase special uniforms through the school or an outside website. We basically ask you to conform to the school colors. The Acacia Charter Schools’ primary color is hunter green.  As such, the simple guidelines for our schools’ uniform are as follows:

1.    Hunter green or white collared shirts (polo or long sleeve shirts are fine)

2.    Khaki or black pants

3.    Khaki or black skirts (optional)

If you have any questions or comments about our school uniform policy, please contact Patty Lingerfelt, Acacia Elementary Principal.
